How It Started
WG Sports Inc. was born out of a simple but powerful idea: that organized adult sports could be more than just a game. Built by Atlanta natives with deep roots in community service and athletics, WG Sports was created to use competitive sports as a vehicle for something bigger fellowship, mentorship, and lasting community impact.
What began as a single sponsored softball team in the Atlanta metro area has grown into a multi-team organization with a clear mission: to promote physical wellness, build meaningful relationships, develop leaders, mentor youth, and give back to the communities that raised us.
The name on the jersey may belong to a sponsor. But the mission, the culture, and the people behind it that's WG Sports Inc., always.

Leadership
Jean-Paul Waterford
Jean-Paul Waterford is the President and General Manager of WG Sports Inc. His vision for the organization has always centered on using the power of sport to build lasting community bonds, open doors for the next generation, and create a platform where Atlanta's adult athletes can compete with purpose.
B. Gibbs
B. Gibbs known as Coach Fresh is the Head Coach and a principal builder of the WG Sports mission. His passion for youth mentorship, team culture, and community investment drives the programming and on-field identity of every team WG Sports fields. He believes every adult athlete has a responsibility to pour back into the community, and he built that belief into the DNA of this organization.

WG Sports Inc. is the permanent parent organization behind every team we field. Sponsors earn naming rights, jersey placement, and community visibility but the culture, the players, the mentorship programs, and the mission belong to WG Sports Inc. Team names and sponsors may rotate season to season. Our commitment to the community never does.
