Jean-Paul Waterford is the Creator, General Manager, Player and Coach of WG Sports Inc., and the President of The Waterford Way Homes — a Metro Atlanta sober living organization built on the values of intention, integrity, and accountability. A Chicago, IL native who planted roots in Atlanta, Jean-Paul built WG Sports from the ground up not just as a sports organization, but as a platform for community, mentorship, and purpose-driven athletics.
His vision has always been bigger than the game. Jean-Paul brings a background in community organizing, youth development, and competitive athletics that spans multiple sports and disciplines. He is the architect of the WG Sports model — the sponsor-team structure, the mentorship programming, the culture of brotherhood and accountability that defines every team WG Sports fields.
Off the field, Jean-Paul has dedicated years to coaching and developing Atlanta's youth across multiple programs and organizations. Through both WG Sports and The Waterford Way Homes, his life's work centers on one belief: that structure, accountability, and community are the foundation of everything worth building.

B. Gibbs known everywhere as Coach Fresh is the Head Coach and a principal builder of the WG Sports mission. A United States Army Veteran who served as a Sergeant, Coach Fresh brings the discipline, leadership, and commitment to excellence that only military service can forge. He is the on-field architect of the Copper Kilt Cobras and the cultural backbone of every team WG Sports has ever fielded.
Coach Fresh brings an unmatched combination of competitive intensity, strategic coaching, and genuine investment in the people around him. His philosophy is simple: the way you play reflects the way you live. He holds his players to a standard of excellence that extends far beyond the softball diamond a standard rooted in the values he carried home from his service to this country.
An avid golfer and certified golf coach, Coach Fresh brings that same precision and patience to the links that he demands on the field. His passion for youth mentorship and community investment drives the programming side of WG Sports. He believes every adult athlete has a responsibility to pour back into the community and he built that belief into the DNA of this organization from day one.
